?How do I create a campaign?
Creating a campaign is quick and straightforward. Simply visit the Create Campaign page and provide a few essential details, such as a title, description, and a feature image. If you need help writing your description, our built-in AI tool can assist you in crafting a compelling and engaging message. You’ll then choose a campaign category, set an optional end date, and add Giving Levels - these allow donors to contribute to specific packages or goals within your campaign. Once everything is set, you can preview your campaign and publish it when you're ready to go live.
?Do you charge a platform fee?
No, we don’t charge any platform fees - not a single penny. Our pricing model is simple and fully transparent. While we take 0% in platform or transaction fees, a small processing fee of 1.5% plus 20p is applied by Stripe™, our trusted payment processor. This amount is automatically deducted from each donation, and the rest goes directly to support your cause. UmmahFunding is sustained entirely by optional donor contributions, allowing us to operate without hidden costs and continue supporting fundraisers like yours.
?Are charities and organisations verified on your platform?
Yes, we carefully vet and verify every charity and organisation before approving them to appear on our platform. This helps maintain trust, safety, and legitimacy across the entire UmmahFunding community.
?I can’t find the charity I want to fundraise for. What can I do?
If your chosen charity isn’t listed on UmmahFunding, we recommend reaching out to them directly and encouraging them to register on our platform. Doing so not only helps you raise funds for them but also benefits many others who may want to support the same cause.
?Why is my campaign not showing in Search/Explore?
When you first create a campaign, it’s only shareable via a direct link and won’t appear publicly on the website right away. This is because we conduct a thorough review to ensure that the campaign is not fraudulent, malicious, or spam-related. Once it passes our safety and quality checks, your campaign will become searchable and visible on the Explore page.
?Do you accept ads on your platform?
Yes, we do. Charities can advertise their campaigns on UmmahFunding. They can either contact us directly or manage their ads through the Charity HQ Dashboard.
?Are the Nisab values for your Zakat calulator updated daily?
Absolutely. Our Zakat calculator uses highly accurate, real-time gold and currency indexes to ensure that Nisab values are always up to date. You can give your Zakat with complete confidence.

No sign-in is required to make a donation - you can contribute instantly and easily. However, creating an account allows you to track your donations, set up automated giving, and manage your contributions more efficiently.

No, in order to create a campaign, you must first create an account. This ensures a secure experience and allows you to manage your campaign effectively.
